Fruit Bowl and Colander, designed by Achille Castiglioni (1918 – 2002), 1995, is one of the most elegant and useful pieces. When used for fruit the colander insert helps keeping it aerated and fresh. Remove the colander and the bowl is perfect for serving salad and vegetables.

The colander, of course, may also be used for draining vegetables and pasta.

Fruit Bowl / Colander earned Achille Castiglioni, at the age of 77, the 1995 Award of the Conseil National des Arts Culinaires de Paris as “ jeunes createurs de l’année” !
