Kettle 9091 by Richard Sapper, 1983, is produced in 18/10 mirror-polished stainless steel with a heat-resistant black PA handle.
The central element is a melodic brass whistle has 2 pipes tuned to the notes “Mi” and “Ti”, that gives a pleasant short tune as steam from the boiling water escapes.

With Kettle 9091 Richard Sapper achieved what may be the first multisensory object for the kitchen.
