Ultima Thule Dessert Bowl was designed by Finnish artist and designer Tapio Wirkkala (1915 – 1985) in 1968. Tapio Wirkkala, a sculptor by education, referred to the natural environment for inspiration. He initially made the wooden moulds, used for his iconic Ultima Thule Glass Collection, by hammering and burning their interior with hot liquid (molten) glass, creating the desired effect of frost and icicles.

Ultima Thule Dessert Bowl, measuring 4.5” in diameter, is the perfect size for serving delicious desserts, frozen yogurt with fresh fruit, as well as morning cereal. Ultima Thule Dessert Bowls comes in a set of 4, packed in a gift box.
