Spun Placemats, designed by Sandy Chilewich, are made in an innovative manufacturing process, where liquid vinyl is poured through a sieve onto a moving belt spinning into a random design, and then quickly heat set. The result is an interesting open weave which is strong, durable and easy to clean and care for. Spun Placemats are available in 8 colors. They may also be used in combination or layered with other tight weave designs, such as Bamboo, Basketweave and also Dot to create interesting table settings.
