The Kapsule Chair, designed by Karim Rashid, is not only sturdy and comfortable. It also functions as a storage unit, or toy box! Formed of 2 injection-molded polypropylene pieces, that easily open, and designed with a portal for easy storage. The Kapsule Chair was named "one of the best product designs of the year" in 2002 as a recipient of the Silver level Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA). Available in four fun colors: neon green, deep purple, luminous orange, and electric blue.
