When exposed to microorganisms in compost or soil, EcoGen decomposes into carbon dioxide, water and biomass. The material’s natural decomposition requires exposure to bacteria commonly found in compost and many soils, but it will not depreciate with ordinary, every day use. EcoGen can withstand temperatures of 110 degrees Centigrade / 230 degrees Fahrenheit and will last indefinitely under normal conditions.
Overturning the adverse effects of petroleum based plastics on our environment cannot occur at once, it takes the effort of an individual to begin the domino effect towards a more sustainable way of life and every small action makes a difference.
