Algues, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, 2004, are inspired by sunlight filtering through trees. Algues (French for algae) are described by the designers as “an open system of flexible geometry,” layered and linked together algae branches create an interesting textured “fabric” perfectly suited as a dramatic room divider, or wall sculpture. Each asymmetrical element is produced in strong flexible injection-molded polypropylene, ready for you to create your own design.
Algues are available in a box of 25, which will cover 3 sq feet.
Available in white, black, or translucent.
