Toio Floor lamp, designed by brothers Achille Castiglioni (1918 – 2002) and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni (1913 -1968) in 1962, is a classic industrial lamp providing an excellent indirect light.
The Toio Floor Lamp was part of a "ready-made" collection by the brothers. The lamp used American cars’ headlights, and the cord held in place with fishing pole rings. The angle iron steel base supports the transformer, and a hexagonal nickel-plated brass stem with telescopic head, allowing the Toio to extend from 67" to 78.8" in height.
