The Supernatural Chair, designed by Ross Lovegrove, 2005, represents a new vision of form and manufacturing processes generated by our digital era. The strong lightweight chair has an abstract humanoid form, giving it a contour hugging the body. It is made with a shell of polypropylene re-enforced with fiberglass in an injection molding process making the material and the chair suitable for in- as well as outdoor use (a small hole in the seat allows for water drainage). The Supernatural Chair is also stackable.

The Supernatural Chair is an important innovation: it uses the technology of injection molding in glass fiber reinforced polyamide with the gas molding process.
