Parentesi Suspension Lamp, designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu’, 1970 - 1971, is an adjustable, flexible lamp, displaying a fluid unobtrusive elegance suitable for most environments. Parentesi is equipped with a steel bracket (in either black or nickel plated) that slides the spotlight to a desired position. The bracket (in from of a parenthesis / parentesi) is held in place by tension of an adjustable steel cable (157.7" Long) stretched between a ceiling plate and a weighted base.
In very high ceiling conditions a second bracket may be useful, and may be purchased separately.
A row of Parentesi Suspension Lamps are very effective in larger spaces.
