Metropolitan XXL, designed by Antonio Citterio, 2000 – 2001, is an impressive majestic floor lamp providing diffused light. It is produced with a brass structure and a 24.8" glass diffuser made of 2 layers of glass. The inner layer is created with hand blown opal glass, the outer layer is transparent glass. The lamp has a 500 watt halogen bulb – and an in-line dimmer to adjust the light. The Metropolitan XXL floor lamp is available in dark bronze or nickel finish.
