Mañana Lamp, designed by Swedish designer Marie-Louise Gustafsson, 2008, started as a simple sketch of a stick figure quickly taking form as a lamp designed to lean against the wall. Mañana Lamp is produced in dark grey powder-coated steel retaining the graphic value of a pencil drawing. The adjustable hood-formed shade, lacquered glossy white on the inside for maximum reflection, may be moved coquettishly sideways, hiding the globe bulb. The light is controlled by an on/off dimmer foot-switch. Mañana Lamp’s simple form and easy installation makes it perfect for residential as well as office environments.
