Gibigiana Table Lamp, designed by Achille Castiglioni, suggests the form of a bird or animal, one can almost see the tall elegant lamp "talking". The name "Gibigiana" in Italian means "reflected light". A halogen bulb, positioned inside the lamp on the base, throws light up towards an adjustable mirror polished aluminum reflector, essentially playing the game we all know of directing sunlight with a mirror. A dial on top of the lamp head controls the light angle, and a dimmer switch located on side of the lamp body controls the intensity, allowing one person to read or doing a task without disturbing others in the space.
Perfect for reading in bed!
