The iF design award winning bowl by Christoph Boninger is made of one piece of aluminum meticulously folded using a process that redefines the physical limits of the material. The aluminum is specially hardened with a titanium eloxal layer, allowing it to be filled with fruit without flexing. The bowl is inspired by fashion designer Issey Miyake’s famous pleated clothing.
