Archimoon Soft Table Lamp, designed by Philippe Starck, 1998, provides both direct and diffused light. The industrial matte silver grey extruded aluminum structure is an interesting contrast to the softer pleated fabric diffusing shade. The fabric shade is equipped with an acid-etched pressed borosilicate glass diffuser liner. The lamp is supported by solid die-cast aluminum base, where the small polycarbonate ON/OFF lever is positioned. The Archimoon Soft Table Lamp, while giving a glowing ambient light, is also a good reading lamp equally suitable for night table and board room.
