The Stendig Calendar, designed by Massimo Vignelli, 1967, makes a clean graphic statement with alternating months in black and white. Printed on 60 pound paper the first month is white with black lettering in Helvetica, February has a black background with white numbers. The week is set up in European fashion starting with Monday. The calendar measuring 48" by 36" is, and has been, used and enjoyed by designers and architects all over the world for more than 40 years. The Stendig calendar is included in the permanent collection of Museum of Modern Art.
